Berkeley: Police Trying to Close Open University, Come to Wheeler Right NOW

“Police saying we can only use Wheeler Hall (UC Berkeley) until 7:30pm.
110 people here now. Need as many people as possible to keep the open university open! Come ASAP!”

“The ‘open university’ situation at wheeler auditorium is quickly becoming dire. the office of student life, cal performances, and the uc police are attempting to remove us from wheeler auditorium – this is all before prof bob meister has even spoken. They are trying to remove us because we did not pay for the space, claiming ‘liability issues.’ PLEASE COME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, and get everyone you know over here.”
